Marmaris to Kekova to Marmaris

Explore Turkey’s Turquoise Coast on a round-trip gulet cruise from Marmaris to Kekova. Over two unforgettable weeks, sail through crystal-clear bays, visit ancient ruins, swim in hidden coves, and experience charming coastal towns—all from the comfort of a traditional wooden gulet. Perfect for those seeking a mix of relaxation, adventure, and culture.

We’ll meet at Marmaris Port from 15:30 for check-in to the gulet—your home for the next two weeks. Ahead is a dream cruise along Turkey’s stunning Turquoise Coast. We’ll spend our first night in the harbor, with dinner served on board.

Our cruise begins with a stop at Ekincik Gulf. From here, you can join an optional tour to Dalyan and explore the delta by riverboat. The journey takes you past ancient rock tombs carved into the cliffs and offers a chance to spot endangered Caretta turtles. Lunch is served at the hidden Caretta-Caretta restaurant, nestled among the reeds with a view of the tombs.

Optional Tour: Dalyan & Mud Baths
Climb aboard a flat-bottomed riverboat for a muddy, memorable experience. The sulfur-rich mud is known for its healing properties—and it’s a lot of fun. Definitely worth it.

We’ll anchor overnight in the calm waters of Ekincik Gulf.

We’ll start the day early with breakfast at Tersane Bay, a naturally sheltered spot once used as a shipyard for centuries. After a swim and lunch in the bay, we’ll cruise on to Manastir Bay. Here, you’ll find the ruins of a 2,000-year-old hammam—said to have been a wedding gift from Marc Antony to Cleopatra.

Today we sail to Fethiye Harbour, a scenic bay protected by the 12 Islands. Wander the charming old town, relax on the beaches of Oludeniz, or explore the dramatic Saklikent Gorge. In the evening, we’ll enjoy dinner and anchor in a quiet nearby bay.

After breakfast, we’ll cruise along the Fethiye Peninsula, stopping in a quiet bay for a swim and lunch. If the weather allows, we’ll continue to Oludeniz to take in the famous Blue Lagoon, then on to the breathtaking Butterfly Valley. Swim in crystal-clear waters or hike through the valley to its hidden waterfall. Lunch will be served at either Oludeniz or Butterfly Valley, depending on the conditions.

Optional Activity: Paragliding Over the Blue Lagoon
There’s no better place to soar above the sea. We recommend booking in advance online for the best rates, or through our office crew. If you decide to go once you’re here, just let the captain know.

In the afternoon, we’ll cruise to St. Nicholas Island. Explore the ruins of a Byzantine settlement and catch a spectacular sunset from the hilltop. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

We’ll set off early to reach Yesilkoy for breakfast and a swim in this peaceful bay, surrounded by olive groves. From there, we’ll cruise to Kas, a small harbor town known for its bohemian vibe—don’t miss the colorful murals along the waterfront.

Optional Activity: Scuba Diving
This is one of the most magical spots in the region to dive. We highly recommend booking in advance online for discounted rates and to secure your place.

You’ll have time to browse Kas’s famous jewelry shops or relax with a drink at one of its stylish bars. Dinner will be served on board, and we’ll spend the night in Kas.

Today we sail to Simena, where you can hike up to the hilltop castle for panoramic views of the ancient city and coastline. In the bay below, a Lycian sarcophagus rises from the water, watched over by a theater carved into the rock. We’ll spend the night anchored in the peaceful bay near Ucagiz Village, surrounded by green hills.

Optional Tour: Demre Ancient City
A must for history lovers—Demre is home to fascinating ruins and the original St. Nicholas (yes, Santa Claus). We recommend booking this optional tour online in advance to secure your spot.

This morning, we’ll take a short cruise to the ruins of Kekova, known as the Sunken City—an ancient settlement partially submerged by an earthquake. You’ll have plenty of time to swim and snorkel around the area before we enjoy lunch on board. In the afternoon, we’ll cruise to Gokkaya Bay, where we’ll anchor for the night.

After breakfast, we’ll cruise to Aquarium Bay for a refreshing swim. Later, we arrive in Kalkan, a picturesque harbor town built into the hillside—perfect for wandering its cobbled streets and browsing local boutiques.

Optional Tours: Xanthos, Letoon & Saklıkent
Choose between relaxing on the golden sands of Patara Beach or exploring the ancient ruins of Xanthos and Letoon, both UNESCO World Heritage sites. For a bit more adventure, visit Saklikent Gorge. Try ziplining or tubing down the river—fun for all ages.

We’ll set off early for Camli Burun, a natural bay framed by pine-covered hills. Spend the day swimming, sunbathing, and simply relaxing in this peaceful setting. In the evening, we’ll anchor for the night at either Tarzan’s Bay or Samanlik Bay.

After breakfast, we’ll head to Bedri Rahmi Bay, named after the renowned Turkish artist who was one of the pioneers of the Blue Cruise tradition. In the evening, we’ll anchor at either Domuz Island or Aga Limanı for a peaceful overnight stay.
